Roaaaadtrip.
Finally touched down. Some points and interesting/random tidbits from the drive:
Day 1
Whitestown & Brownsburg, IN -> ”WITE POWER” written on the toilet paper cover in my bathroom stall :( Bah.
First time at Cracker Barrel — Yum!
Everything so far looks remarkably similar to IL. Don’t feel like we’re going anywhere.

Down and Up
Had one of the saddest conversations of my life earlier.. I couldn’t get a hold of my aunt while I was still at school, but I finally spoke with her today. Broke my heart to bits. We just cried and cried, well, me more than her - she’s so incredibly strong, I don’t know how she does it.. but every time I heard her choke up a little I started bawling. Horrible.. I wish I could...

Just spent a couple hours at Starbucks with my friend. We’ve been trying to get together for weeks haha, finally succeeded! Back to packing/studying/slicing and dicing fruits and veggies. So close!

My lens sold!!! And for more than it originally sold for. Thank you thank you thank you thank you lens-buyer. Absolutely made my morning. That pays for well over 2/3 of my ski pass. I can breathe a little easier (: Off to study in a coffee-scented, Christmas-music-playing place. The bucks of star. Yummm

Success
I have now super-glued every broken thing I own.. Moon Boots, goggles, and my beloved Zion NP necklace. The boots will probably need additional reinforcement.. trying to decide what I’m going to do about that. Anyway, as of now, I’m all patched up! :D
